Do you agree with me that USC and Notre Dame always get a name brand rankings bump on the preseason polls? I’m unsure if the Trojans deserve their top 25 ranking.
I think that’s a fair assessment. It feels like every year we get a few teams that get a higher preseason ranking based more on pedigree than projected production.
That said, I try really hard not to get worked up about rankings early in the season. I do my best to wait it out and let things naturally course correct.
